Shipping policy

Delivery, self pickup, and handover for catalog items and bespoke carpentry projects across Israel.

Clear delivery information

Element Carpentry supplies custom carpentry, kitchens, wardrobes, and wood furniture. This document explains how we deliver products purchased online or ordered as bespoke projects.

Policy scope

This policy applies to delivery, handover, and pickup of Element Carpentry products and projects within Israel, including online purchases, phone/email orders, and signed quotes.

Product-specific details (price, self-pickup availability, estimated lead time) appear on the product page, in the cart, and on the order confirmation. If there is a conflict, the final confirmation sent to the customer prevails.

Online catalog products

Products available for direct online purchase (with a listed price) are delivered to the address entered at checkout, subject to availability in your area.

  • Provide a full address, city, and postal code when available.
  • A phone number for delivery coordination is required.
  • We may contact you before dispatch to confirm details and a time window.

Items marked as requiring coordination or without an online price are not shipped automatically | use Contact for a quote and delivery scheduling.

Bespoke projects

Kitchens, wardrobes, libraries, and bespoke carpentry are built to measure. Delivery is scheduled only after production and quality checks are complete.

  • Delivery and installation (where included) are scheduled with our team.
  • Large projects may involve staged deliveries.
  • The customer must ensure site access, reasonable parking for a delivery vehicle, and an authorized recipient on site.

Shipping costs

Shipping cost depends on product type, weight, volume, distance, and delivery method:

  • Free shipping: Products marked as free shipping on the product page.
  • Product-specific rate: Items with a dedicated shipping price shown on the product page and in the cart.
  • Standard shipping: When no dedicated price is shown, shipping is quoted on the order or quote confirmation.

Shipping prices do not include crane lifts, door removal, or special site preparation unless agreed in advance.

Self pickup

Products marked for self pickup can be collected from our workshop or an agreed handover point by prior appointment only.

  • Bring order confirmation and valid ID.
  • The customer is responsible for loading, transport, and securing items in the vehicle.
  • Free storage time is limited | late pickup may incur storage fees.

Lead times

Lead times shown on product pages are estimates only unless a signed quote states a binding date.

  • Delays may occur due to material shortages, approved design changes, weather, or force majeure.
  • We will notify you of any material schedule change.
  • Complex projects often require additional measurements before production.

Delivery day

  1. Our team will call before arrival within the agreed time window.
  2. Ensure access paths are clear and suitable for the item dimensions.
  3. Inspect items on delivery. Report visible damage immediately on the delivery note.
  4. Basic installation (if included) is performed during the visit | electrical/plumbing work is excluded unless stated otherwise.

Damage & failed delivery

If an item arrives damaged or delivery fails due to customer-side issues (wrong address, no recipient, no access), we will resolve the matter under our

refund & cancellation policy and applicable law.

  • Report damage within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
  • Missing a delivery window may incur a re-delivery fee.
